Swirl’s Mobile Presence Platform Recognized for Innovation With Two Recent Awards

With 90% of retail sales taking place in brick and mortar stores, savvy retailers are doubling down on their in-store marketing strategies and technologies to drive cross-channel improvements in the customer experience. And, now with enterprise hardware providers embedding digital location signals into their retail offerings, retail marketers are leveraging these signals to bridge the digital and physical worlds to enhance their omnichannel marketing strategies.

We’re proud that Swirl is helping retailers take advantage of indoor mobile location to drive impressive business results. For example, a leading fuel and convenience store recently used Swirl’s platform to generate a 60% increase in the pump-to-store conversion rate while a top consumer electronics retailer saw a 21% increase in loyalty program sign-up rate resulting from a Swirl-enabled in-store mobile marketing campaign. In recognition for the innovation that Swirl is bringing to clients like this in the retail industry, we were recently recognized with two industry awards.

First, Swirl’s Mobile Presence Marketing Platform was named a 2018 MITX Award Finalist for Most Innovative Ad Technology. The MITX Awards are held annually by the Massachusetts Innovation and Technology Exchange and recognize excellence in marketing and technology produced or developed in New England.

Following that announcement, Swirl won its second straight Stevie Award for Technical Innovation of the Year. Swirl’s Mobile Presence Marketing Platform was recognized for the advancements in omnichannel marketing that it’s bringing to brick and mortar retailers.

All of us at Swirl are committed to transforming the retail industry for brick and mortar retailers. Therefore, it’s especially rewarding to see our efforts recognized by the industry leaders judging these awards who commented that “the insight provided by this product is sure to swing the pendulum back in favor of brick and mortar longevity.”
