Do I have to pay for a Swirl membership?
Swirl membership is completely free, so you can just sign up at any time and begin your Swirl experience!

Who can get in on Swirl Sample Sales?
Swirl membership will be open to all, but DailyCandy subscribers are eligible for special benefits including deeper discounts, special access, and more.

What happens if I forget my login information?
Click on the "Forgot your password?" link on the Member Login page. Once you have entered your email address, an email will be sent to you directing you to create a new password.

Do any sales take place at a physical location?
All of Swirl's sales are held exclusively online at www.Swirl.com

What are my payment options?
Swirl accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

How are the products selected for each sale?
Swirl is extremely particular with its product selection process. Our team of accomplished buyers works closely with all brand partners to hand pick each item to ensure that they'll meet with our customers' approval.

How long does each sale last?
Each sale lasts between 24-72 hours.

How do I know if what I buy will fit me?
We include measurements of every item on the size and fit tab which is located on the product detail page. We also include the size our Swirl model is wearing for a special reference. When the item arrives and you find that it does not fit you, please refer to the Swirl Return Policy

What is your return policy?
Swirl will accept returns on the following items for store credit within 30 days of purchase:

Apparel
Footwear
Home Decor and Home Accessories
Jackets and Outerwear

Items must be returned unused, unworn and in their original condition. Items must also be returned in their original packaging including attached hangtags, hangers, shoeboxes, dust bags, eyeglass cases, gift boxes and any other packaging.

Unfortunately because our sales are available for such a limited time we are unable to offer exchanges of any kind.

Please note: It may take 2-3 weeks for returns to be processed and credited to your account. We'll send you a confirmation email once the store credit is entered into our system.

Why can't I return items beyond the 30-day time frame?
By keeping the return window to this 30-day time period, we are able to offer you desirable brand name merchandise at a members only price.

What if I receive an item that is damaged or defective?
When you return a defective or damaged item to Swirl, we will issue a refund for the full purchase amount back to your original form of payment. If you have received a defective or damaged item, please call a Swirl Associate at 1-888-XO-Swirl.

How do I complete my return?

How do I use my store credit?
We do not issue cash refunds for returns, but we will credit your Swirl account for the full purchase amount of the returned item and applicable taxes. Store credit can be applied towards any items for sale on Swirl. Please see our Return Policy for more details.

Will I be charged sales tax?
Swirl charges sales tax for all orders that are shipped to California and New York. We do not charge sales tax for orders shipped to other states.

How can I track my order?
Once your order has been processed and designated to be shipped to the address you provided, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a UPS tracking number which will allow you to track your order on www.UPS.com.

The Order Detail for my order indicates "Billing Information Received." Was my package shipped?
Yes, it has shipped. UPS delivers most of our merchandise. The message "Billing Information Received" means that your package has been given to UPS for delivery, but has not yet been scanned at its first destination en route to you. Once the order ships, it can take 24-72 hours before your tracking number becomes valid and your merchandise can be tracked online.

What do the UPS Tracking Status terms mean?

  • Billing Information Received: UPS has received the electronic transmission of package detail from Swirl. UPS has taken possession of the package, but detailed tracking information is not yet available. More detailed information should be available within 72 hours.

  • Origin: The package has been scanned at the origin UPS location.

  • Departure: The package has left its present location and is on its way to your shipping address.

  • Arrival: The package has arrived at an intermediate sort facility or the destination facility.

  • Out for Delivery: The package has reached the facility responsible for delivering the package. This is a package's last stop before delivery.

  • Delivery: The package has been delivered. The date and time of delivery is recorded.

  • Exception: If the package cannot be delivered or is delayed, the reason is noted.

How do I use the UPS return label?
The preprinted, pre-addressed, pre-paid UPS return label included in your Swirl insert makes returns easy and free of charge. Simply attach the UPS return label to your return package, peel off return label located on your packing slip and affix to your return package. Bring return package to any UPS drop-off location. See your packing slip for complete instructions on returns.

I lost my return label. Can I still return my merchandise?
Yes, you can. If you have misplaced your packing slip for a return, simply call us at 1-888-XO-Swirl. A Swirl associate will be more than happy to email or mail you a pre-paid return label.

How is order status different from tracking information?
Your order status is supplied by Swirl and represents what is happening with your order between the time you place it and the time it ships from our warehouse.  Once your order leaves our warehouse, it is handled by a carrier that will provide tracking information including the tracking number which will allow you to keep track of your order from the time it leaves our warehouse to the time it reaches its destination.

Can I cancel an order?
Once we receive your order, we strive to ship it to you as quickly as possible.  An order cannot be cancelled outside of the allotted one-hour processing time that it takes for Swirl to enter your order into our warehouse fulfillment system.  If you wish to cancel your order during that first hour you can contact a Swirl Associate.

Where can I find out how much credit is issued for my return item?
The Order History section under "My Account" will show the status of your current order as well as any information on previous orders, including any store credits in your account. Your store credits can also be viewed on the "Check-out" page of your account.

Will I be able to view the total number of a particular item available for sale?
The number available for purchase of a specific item will be designated only if there are 5 or fewer of that particular item.  This will be displayed on the product detail page.

How can I unsubscribe from Swirl?
At the bottom of every Swirl email, there is a link to unsubscribe from the Swirl Sample Sale edition.

What is Visa Signature?
Visa Signature is Visa's premium card. It allows owners to receive special deals and
discounts. This offer applies only to orders paid with a Visa Signature card.

How will I know if my card is a Visa Signature?
Simply check your card for the words "Visa Signature." All Visa Signature cards have
the Visa Signature imprint on the front.

How long is this offer available?
The Visa Signature sale takes place the last Tuesday of every month. It runs from
7:00 AM PST June 22nd, 2010 thru 7:00 AM PST June 30th, 2010.

My free gift didn't show up in my shopping bag or in my order confirmation;
how do I know if I'm receiving it?

If you ordered with your Visa Signature card, your free gift will not be displayed in
your shopping bag or in your order confirmation. Because this offer is valid only while
supplies last, we cannot guarantee that you will receive a free gift. If you are receiving
a free gift, it will be shipped with the rest of your order.

How do I invite a friend?
At Swirl, we love it when you Get Your Swirl On, so why not invite a friend to also? Once you
have logged in to your Swirl Account, you can find the "Invite Friends" tab, next to the "My Account"
tab. You can also click on the many "Invite Friends" icons located throughout our Swirl site. Once
you click on any of these links, you can invite as many friends as you like. You can also write a
personalized message to include on the invite. After that, consider yourself good to go! Click
"Send Invitation" and get ready to share the love!

How do I invite friends via a personal invitation link?
Once you create your personalized link, all you have to do is copy it onto just about anything.
This link is yours and only yours. Email it, tweet it, Facebook it, blog it, share it, and the best
part is; you can receive shopping credit from it! You can earn $25 in store credit for each
friend who joins and makes their first purchase on Swirl through your personalized link.
Easy, awesome, and a fun way to share the love!

Do I get anything if I invite a friend to join Swirl?
Yes indeed! Once a friend who becomes a new Swirl member makes their first purchase,
you will receive a $25 credit to your account. You can view your credit balance on the 'Account Credits'
page as well as the 'My Account' section.

Please note that you receive a $25 credit for purchases made by new Swirl members
only - current Swirl members, and members who quit and
rejoin multiple times don't count, and Swirl reserves the right to review memberships and referrals
for fraud and other misuse. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more details.

How can you afford to give away store credit?
We want you to help us spread the word about Swirl. We can afford to give you store
credit by getting you to help us spread the word and get your friends involved. By
saving money on advertising and marketing, we are able to reward our best customers
like you!

Are you going to send my friends or me Spam?
We won't send spam to you or your friends' email addresses. You will only get notices
from us related to the status of your account, and you can 'unsubscribe' automatically
with a link contained at the bottom of each email.

How do I know if my friends join?
You can visit the "Invitations" page to view the friends you have invited, what day you
invited them, and the status of their membership. There are four different status'
which will help confirm your friend's membership.

  • Already a Member - This status indicates that the friend you tried to invite is already a member of Swirl.
  • Invitation Sent - This status validates that your invitation has been sent successfully.
  • Reminder Sent - If you choose to send a reminder to your friend, this status confirms that the reminder
    has been sent successfully.
  • Registered - If you see this status, you are in luck! Your friend has registered for Swirl either by accepting
    your invite or clicking on your personalized link. They have officially begun their Swirl shopping experience!

How do I know if my friend has made a purchase?
You will receive $25.00 in your account. You can view your credit balance on the
'Account Credits' page as well as the 'My Account' section. So keep an eye out!

How do I use my $25 credit?
When you make your next Swirl purchase, you can opt to use our Store Credit at
check out. You can find the balance of this credit in the 'My Account' section on
both the Account Credits and Invitations page.

What if I get lots of friends to join Swirl and make purchases? Do I get $25
store credit for each of them?

Yes. There is no limit on the amount of store credit you are qualified to earn.
