Swirl Honored as Stevie® Award Winner in 2015 American Business Awards

Swirl Ad Exchange (SWx™) Recognized for Innovation in Mobile Advertising and Digital Shopper Engagement

BOSTON, MA  – Swirl Networks Inc., provider of the leading beacon marketing platform, has been named a Silver Stevie® Award winner for the Technical Innovation of the Year category in the 13th Annual American Business Awards, which honors workplace achievements in businesses across the country. The company was recognized for its beacon-powered programmatic mobile advertising solution, Swirl Ad Exchange (SWx).

The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the United States are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. More than 3,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories.

“We are extremely impressed with the quality of entries we received this year. The competition was intense and every organization that won should be proud,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards.

Swirl’s beacon marketing platform enables leading retailers and brands to reach consumers with highly relevant content and offers delivered directly to their smartphones while they shop in participating retail locations nationwide. SWx is the world’s first programmatic ad exchange for beacon-powered in-store mobile marketing. With SWx, retailers are able to leverage their beacon networks to create new shopper marketing opportunities for brand advertisers, allowing them to deliver relevant and engaging digital content to in-aisle shoppers at the precise time and place they are making purchase decisions.

“We are honored that The American Business Awards has recognized the innovations that Swirl is bringing to mobile advertising and the impact that we are having on the retail industry,” said Swirl Founder and CEO, Hilmi Ozguc. “As more and more retailers deploy beacons in their stores, SWx provides them with a powerful opportunity to generate even greater value from their beacon investments. Major brand advertisers are looking forward to working with their retail partners to fundamentally reinvent in-store shopper marketing for the mobile age.”
