Swirl’s indoor mobile location platform enables leading retailers to take advantage of a variety of digital location signals in and around their stores, including GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth Low Energy and Visible Light Communications. With the Swirl platform, retailers can generate in-store shopper behavioral data that enables greater levels of omnichannel personalization, deliver mobile content and services to in-store shoppers, measure and optimize online media investments to drive retail store foot traffic, and create new digital shopper marketing and merchandising opportunities for brand advertisers.
“2017 has been a year of significant development for the indoor mobile location industry. With location signals now deployed at scale at nearly every major retailer, and Google introducing open standards and massive audience reach, retailers were finally able to take advantage of this technology in a scalable and meaningful way,” said Swirl founder and CEO, Hilmi Ozguc. “We are passionate about helping enterprise retailers harness the power of mobile to transform their brick and mortar locations, and we are honored to be recognized for the innovation that we are bringing to the industry.”
